Product Review by Karen: (meet our team)

Months ago, I shared this kitchen counter appliance caddy (a platform device) that would allow for a user to sit a coffee maker or other countertop appliance on it, and therefore make it easy to slide the appliance from the back to the front of the counter as needed. They worked well, with a few limitations like the platform going off-track, or the appliance falling off the platform, or the expandable distance being limited.

These new sliders I recently found seem easy to apply and use and cannot ‘slide off.’ Rather than a 2-part platform that the appliance merely sits upon (and may fall off of), these low-cost individual sliders are like “feet,” secured directly to the bottom of the appliance (the backs have an adhesive). The appliance is then very easily moved from the back of a counter, or even re-positioned sideways with little effort. My Air-fryer grill weighs over 20 lbs, but with these sliders it seems almost weightless.

Pros:

  • Adheres like individual feet to bottom of appliance

  • No ‘track’ to fall off

  • No restriction on distance appliances can be moved back, forward, or sideways.

Cons:
  • Sliders cannot easily be removed

  • Caution required not to pull appliance too far forward

  • Bottom of appliance must be level (no ridges–see red Keurig photo)

Karen shows us how the kitchen appliance sliders by Tuyuu, which attach like little feet to the bottom of appliances, make her air-fryer grill easily movable on her black marble kitchen counter.
